### **Madhya Pradesh to Launch Major Agricultural Reforms at State-Level Balram Jayanti Festival in Gwalior**
**GWALIOR** – The Madhya Pradesh government is set to host a high-profile state-level Balram Jayanti Mahotsav in Gwalior this Wednesday, marking a significant push toward agricultural modernization and farmer welfare. The event will serve as the launchpad for several key policy initiatives aimed at streamlining financial support for the state’s farming community.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, accompanied by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, will preside over the event.
#### **Key Policy Launches**
Aligning with the state’s designated “Farmer Welfare Year,” the government will officially unveil the **Kisan Credit Card (KCC) portal**, designed to simplify credit access for farmers. Additionally, the administration will roll out a simplified zero-percent interest scheme and the new **Krishak Kavach Yojana**.
To strengthen rural grassroots infrastructure, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate offices for 200 newly registered Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across the state.
#### **Recognition of Agricultural Excellence**
A central focus of the festival is the acknowledgment of farmers and institutions that have demonstrated excellence in the field. CM Yadav is scheduled to distribute share capital certificates to new PACS members and honor three outstanding district cooperative banks along with five top-performing PACS institutions.
Individual farmers who have excelled in cow conservation, organic farming, and horticulture will be recognized with prestigious state honors, including the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Award, the Kushabhau Thakre Award, and the Chief Minister Farmer Welfare Award.

The festivities at the Mela Ground are slated to begin at 10:30 AM, featuring a vibrant cultural program that includes an All-India *Kavi Sammelan* (poet gathering) and traditional *Kanhaiya* folk performances.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is expected to arrive at 2:00 PM to address the gathering and officially initiate the new welfare schemes. Throughout the venue, various government departments will host exhibitions showcasing farmer-centric programs and modern agricultural technologies.

Given the VVIP presence and the expected influx of participants from across the state, the Gwalior Traffic Police has implemented a comprehensive traffic management plan.
Specific entry routes and designated parking zones have been established for buses, four-wheelers, and tractors. Authorities have issued a mandatory advisory requiring all vehicles arriving for the event to reach their designated parking sites by 12:00 PM. Attendees are urged to follow the signage and instructions provided by local law enforcement to ensure smooth transit during the event.
